Digital Identity and a voting platform on Blockchain.

Problem: Individual representation on the world wide web. How do you verify that a digital identity corresponds to one (1) physical individual?
If this problem is solved or circumnavigated with a clever solution it would enable the creation of a digital voting platform with the purpose of eliminating representational politics.
I for one do not believe my values are fairly represented in the current system of government. I feel estranged to the issues, emotions and solutions that are conveyed through the media after numerous filtration steps by interpretation, hearsay and public opinion agreeance.
With my digital life close to my heart I am confused as to why democracy hasn’t been further developed considering the fact we’ve got stupendously big databases on all sorts of things on the internet publically available, how is it that our most important function of society hasn’t been developed in a rate at par with other data collection schemes?
We’ve got “mobile bank-id’s” so we’re able to meaningfully represent individuals digitally although it may not be watertight and places the trust in centralized bank entities. But we’ve now also got blockchain technology, (i.e : voting power on a decentralized network composed of virtual addresses, and although these adresses can be generated at will there are mechanisms in place to restrict who gets to vote and one example of this is “PoS” (Proof of Stake)).
To me, there is the obvious caveat that there is no way to define national identity of these nodes. Which can be for better or for worse. Suppose you create a fully functioning government (riksdag) on a blockchain network, those who will be part of the network will be their own nation and so the obvious problems of what law should these people adhere to? We can obviously produce a policy / law document and behave accordingly but other nations that are already considered to be sovereign states will still be a fact and will have to work with (or combat) these emerging ‘internet-states’. The idea of “N.W.O” springs to mind, but perhaps it’s a democratically based government that becomes the “N.W.O”?
Whatever happens, reconciliation between new systems and old traditional ones will have to happen.
Russia allowing cryptocurrencies in official international trades is a step towards the New World Order. Let’s not panic and resist the change.

Anyway, voting is tomorrow. I’m voting pirate because of my digital life.

Update on education

After realizing I am not fit enough to handle a physically taxing workload I decided to pick school back up and strive towards becoming a programmer.

I finished my six (6) month education (Java Fullstack Development) with Lexicon, Växjö and learned how to manage a simple application with database connections and a web framework.
Among the topics were React, Springboot, JPA, Javascript and HTML.

I constructed a profile page on Arbetsförmedlingens webpage with added competencies and am hoping I will look desirable in a future employer’s eyes.
But landing a job is a secondary goal to furthering my education.

The remainder of this year (2022) I will be pursuing a C# / .NET course á circa six (6) months.

I’m already in talks with the course manager to apply for this education, all I need is permission from Arbetsförmedlingen.

What’s attractive specifically about C# and .NET is that it is the language the game engine of Ultima Online utilizes. Which is fun to me, because learning about this language would allow me to mess around with a private shard along with my guild. (Guild website in the works).

Furthermore, throughout all of the years I’ve been online I’ve only read positive remarks about the C# compiler and how it is the foundation of programming essentially. To be in the same room socializing with old bearded men is something I want. It is the modern equivalent of hanging out in the Lycaeum of ancient Greece alongside the great thinkers of the time.

As a footnote I would like to give a thumbs up to Arbetsförmedlingen for updating their webpage to a competent design and behaviour. It used to be catastrophic but today it’s looking good. (Y).

I’ve intended to code a website on my own for probably 10 years but never managed to create anything I’m proud of, so instead; here’s a wordpress blog.

I used to play around with Apache on my server and managed to host a website or two but I ran into issues with issuing a CA cert and getting HTTPS/SSL to behave properly. After many attempts at getting it to work I decided to put it on ice and since then I’ve published this wordpress blog instead through MissHosting.

Blogs used to be popular when I was in high school and have since then fallen out of the limelight, but that’s not stopping me from having a small outlet to conjure up some words for your reading pleasure.

As of yet I’ve produced two documents, one small and one large. One detailing how to contact me (if you ever would have the desire to) and one presenting almost all of my gaming characters (in case you ever met me before).
Some accounts for some games have been lost in time. The amount of time spent in-game as I jotted it down is surprisingly low for someone who has spent literally every day in front of a computer gaming in one form or another. Granted I do spend more of my time chatting rather than gaming.

I’m going to attempt to detail as much as I can about my gaming life, my gaming habits and basically anything gaming related on this webpage but I reserve the right to also publish things that are not immediately related to my internet-persona.
